At some point during the Dark Years, I realized that I had lost my sense of wonder. I came to see that wonder does not abide companionably alongside outrage. My (well-deserved) outrage had cost me my sense of wonder, and I was devastated. It has gradually returned, and I realized today that what I’m experiencing here is the full-on return of wonder. I’m absolutely reveling in it every day when I see and share art and photos and good-natured humor and community. Just wow. #Mastodon

Just discovered the hide boosts function. Wish I'd have looked for this before. Now I can be inspired by artists who post their beautiful work without having the mood killed and my opinion of them dragged down by some petty political post they've boosted.
